For those of you that have been around here for a bit, you know I’ve been working on Lymphomania for years. You know about its different versions. You know how I fumbled when trying to juggle kids and writing. You know how Rocco gave me a laptop a couple of years ago and encouraged me to dive back in. You know about most of my wins…and my losses. And so I’m especially proud to share with you some amazing news.
Today I have an essay in the New York Times.

I want to share it with you. It’s a peek at the second half I added to the book last year. It’s a hint of how motherhood has shaped my relationship with cancer. It’s…like the rest of it…raw and honest and occasionally sprinkled with completely inappropriate references. I hope you’ll like it.
